Enogastronomy

Rosario, Santa Fe, ArgentinaBuiltWith Estudio Arq. Martín Sandiano
Corner restaurant at night: a masonry ground floor lit from below, carrying a dark steel-and-glass upper volume punctuated by a row of luminous rings.

A wine-led restaurant occupying a corner building in Rosario. The renovation keeps the original masonry façade and its carved lettering, and sets a dark steel-and-glass volume above it, marked by a row of luminous rings that carry around the corner. Inside, the full height of the building is given over to the bottles.

Process

The cabinetwork was documented piece by piece, because the arched cabinets and the bottle racks are the architecture here rather than a fit-out laid over it.
