A boutique hotel in Tulum, resolved end to end from Rosario with the client seven thousand kilometres away. The commission covered the interiors in full — the arcaded courtyards and their reflecting pools, the bar, the rooms and their bespoke furniture — together with the technical resolution of the pool and the design of a subterranean temazcal. Every decision was drawn, discussed and approved at distance across two years of construction.

Process

The interiors were built out of a full 3D model, which is where the arcade geometry, the floor levels and the pool section were resolved before anything was drawn.
